              <text>UMUC has two permanent collections: the Maryland Artist Collection and the Asian Collection, selections of which are on view at the College Park Marriott Hotel &amp; Conference Center.  UMUC also hosts temporary exhibitions at the Hotel and publishes concise accompanying catalogs.  The Maryland Artist collection encompasses the Gladys Golstein Gallery for abstract contemporary art, the Doris Patz Collection, and the art of Herman Maril.  The Asian Art collection encompasses Japanese prints (especially strong in the work of Yoshitoshi Mori) and Chinese art from the sixteenth to the twentieth century.</text>
